happy (read: LAZY) weekend

This is the first weekend--in...I can't even think how long--that I haven't had a contracted or self-inflicted writing deadline.

To celebrate, I'll be doing a little bit of this:

Sleeping in, Holly Golightly style, sans "Cat."

Eating all the good things. Trader Joe's, anyone?

Hanging with a good friend, who listens to me complain, but also makes me laugh and drags me out when I want to stay in and complain some more.

Doing a little binge-watching. Because...#PaceyLove.

At least two naps, or I shall be very disappointed with myself.

I woke up this morning with a wicked tweak in my neck. As the morning has progressed, the tweak has spread and is getting even more tweaky. Six Ibuprofen later and dreams of getting my hands on some really awesome muscle relaxers, I'm wishing you a happy weekend....and hope that I'm not the only one who will be dreamily floating like Alice.

(And, this may be the preemptive muscle relaxers talking, but...*sniff* dudes, I just love you all....)

This long weekend is a perfect time for it. 

And while we're on the subject.... 
I love thinking about what my characters would wear. The MC in my current WIP is pretty low-key. She loves jeans (with heels, on the weekend), yoga pants (when no one is looking), cashmere pashminas (because she likes to say "paj-mean-uh"), and no-fuss biz-wear while at the ad agency (where she's a very under-appreciated copywriter).
